Yap, kind of relaxed for a week. But why time always fly so fast that I didn't even realized one week has passed.
I love my week as I really had at least 8 hours of sleep every single day except the day before that I went to Johore.
Yap. I went Johore yesterday with Pauline, her mum and her aunties. 5 of us. Finally got stamped in my passport after 5 months. Ya, I finally got my passport done. 2.5 more years before it expires. The book still has lots of spaces so I do hope I get to travel a lot soon. Of course not to my hometown only but to other countries as well. =)
It was a pretty cool trip. Her auntie drove damn fast that we reached in like less than 45 minutes. We went to CIMB Bank. I had flipped through 2.5 Prestige Magazines looking through photos and pictures of people, watches and cars. Nothing much through. One that caught my eyes is the hotel that is previously a prison/jail. Ya, you read correctly, it was a jail! It is the Malmaison Hotel in UK, London if I remember the fact correct, making up of 94 hotel rooms. It is pretty well-known in UK in fact if I'm not wrong. I have never been to UK or Europe sad to say. It was turned into a hotel as the jail wasn't suitable. I wonder why. The size or the condition? Never the less, I do hope I can go and visit the hotel or stay in one of the rooms in the near future. =)
There is another jail that was changed into a hotel as well. I can't remember what is that hotel already. It cost $150m changing it. Wow!
After the bank, we went to buy breads. I was told that the breads were damn nice and the breads are freshly baked from the ovens. I was told by one of the aunties that the place is quite dark or the oven is quite black that I might be scared of. Well, when we reached, I wasn't even have a bit of fright. In fact, I like it. The place is a bit of traditional type, the big oven is pretty black from all the toasting of breads. The breads are still warm when they are sold. I bought pretty lots of breads. They are nice! I love the banana cake. I wanted to take photos of the bread shop but I was scared photos were not allowed. I wanted to ask the uncle but he seemed too busy with customers so I didn't bother asking. The uncle is a pretty friendly guy.
I'm a person who does not have not much liking for coffee. But I wonder why Johore coffees are pretty nice. I drank a small cup from the bank and then later while we were enjoying our breads, I had a big cup too. It was really good, very smooth to swallow down the throat and it doesn't have the other taste bitter effect. Good!
I talked as if I wasn't from Malaysia. For your information, I was born in Johore. Surprised? I missed the Saba fish when I was young. But the whole row of food stalls were asked to go off if I'm not wrong as the government thought it was unhygienic to sell food nearby the river according to my dad. Whatever the case, it was a pretty good memory. =)
I missed the durians too from my hometown. Every year when I went home when I was young, there were lots of durians awaiting for me. They were from our durian plantations. But sadly to say, the plantations were sold due to some reasons. No more durians. But whatever it is, I had a good memory to keep as well. =)
I wanna eat durians!
The mee goreng (did I spell it correctly?) for our lunch was nice too. Although the green chillies were damn hot/spicy? It was not hot or spicy just choke my nose.
I had so much of memories for a day and so much of new experiences. Love it!
Oh ya! We went back to the bank again if I was not wrong, Pauline needed to sign some documents. But the blur queen (not me in this case) got the card gotten eaten up by the ATM machine. So we need to wait for a while.
Talking about blur, I forgot to bring out my phone the other day and troubled everyone. I was really sorry. Because of that, I missed my movie Step Up 3. Never mind, I'm watching it with Louisa next week. =)
Okay, enough for today. I'm currently looking for new experience and adventures. Ya, if you have heard, my parents want me to take care of them since I'm can consider officially graduate if I can pass all my modules for my last semesters. Okay, I need to find what is my passion and love. I learnt the other day from Steve Jobs in one of the youtube videos, you need to have passion and love for what you are doing or else you won't be happy with what you are doing and you will quit halfway. So what is my love and passion for? I wonder...
I guess I have been 吊儿郎当(did I write it correctly?) for the past 21 years of my life I guess. No more like that! What should I do? What is my love and passion for?
Okay I shall go continue to think what is it. See ya soon! =)
