Parachute - Kiss Me Slowly (w/ Lady Antebellum Intro)

Parachute - Something To Believe In

Life is always happening!

Life is always happening! :)

My most 狼狈 day of my life. Last Saturday, I was feeling really bored so I asked a couple of my friends if they wanted to go cycle with me. Only my sweet and beloved little cousin, Benedict agreed. After that Andrea joined in when we reached there. We didn't go to the usual rental shop to rent our bicycle as the shop is almost empty so we went to the shop next to it. They are pretty slow in handling customers so maybe their business is not as good as the one beside. When we started cycling, it was already 5.30pm. So my usual routine is to cycle to the jetty and most of the time my final stop would be at the airport lane to see airplanes taking off and then head back to return the bikes. The furthest I have gone is to the Changi Beach only. Today, I broke my usual routine. We went all the way, not only to Changi Beach, we went to Changi Village and have seafood at this Ubin First Shop Restaurant. The food is good, nice & considered pretty cheap for seafood. We spent around $75 for 3 people for 4 dishes which includes veggie, cray-fish, clay pot chicken and crab.

Our bike should be returned by 7.30pm. But at 8.30pm we are having our dinner. And 9.30pm they are closing! Nice one! So at around 9pm plus we went to find taxi with our bikes hoping some kind souls will give us a ride. But difficult to find a driver these days who know how to put the bike into the taxi and have a kind soul to give us a ride. Andrea and Ben luckily able to find a taxi each. Whereas for me, damn unluckily, being rejected by a few taxi drivers and finally I managed to get a taxi via booking. When i got the taxi is already 10.30pm! Oh my goodness! and in order to get my bike into the cap, the wheel was took off. Some kind soul helped me to take the wheel off.

Finally I reached back to the rental shop safe and sound but not the bike! One nut is lost! I called the taxi driver but it wasn't there! Damn! I thought I was in deep trouble! But the boss was kind enough said never mind, don't bother about this stuff what important is that you guys are safe and sound. I was really touched by his words. He returned my driving license not forgetting to take a look at the photo and commented. "Are you sure this is you? How come you look different? You seemed to put on weight. Eat lesser." I was like... thanks. Thanks for the truthful words. I will surely go back to rent his bikes again but of course will get back in time and not giving him trouble! Haha!

Preparing to go down and meet a friend! I think he is really bored that he is willing to come all the way from Jurong to my place to have milo when the time now is 1.32am. Nice one!

Okay, more updates soon!

Love,
Sam

Life has been happening!

Well life has been happening for me! Haha!

Did I mention that I went to Universial Studio Singapore? I think I did. I went on 29 April, Friday. It was fun! :)

It was seriously crowded that every ride, it took us 1h at least to queue just for a less than 1 minute ride. I went to Rebecca by the way. Haha!

I managed to sit on the so-call most exciting rides Human and Cylon. I was really nervous before I even sit on them. If I remember correctly the Cylon (Should be the red one) is more exciting as it would turn you upside down and have some smoke. But pretty fun that I scream the whole ride. After the ride, it wasn't that bad after all, just feel a little dizzy. Lols. Human has more sudden dropping feel! But still okay. Worth the try.

I like the Mummy ride as it has a sudden drop from behind and it is in the dark that you do not know what is going to happen next!

We also managed to ride on the water (Jurassic Park) ride. This is the only water ride at USS at the moment. Madagascar is not ready when we are there. It took us nearly 2 hours to queue for the ride. During the ride, we are deciding if we should buy rain coats or not. In the end, we bought it. Damn it, I still wet in the end. It was a pretty boring ride for the whole journey except there is a sudden drop at the end that I ended up being drenched. Who cares? We had fun! That was our last ride for the day!

Home sweet home for 29 April.

So many interesting things are happening in my life that I do not really have time to react to them. Lols.

One of my clients asked me to accompany him to choose a lappy. And normally a guy should be pretty good at computer specs but this noob seriously know nothing much. And he doesn't know what is a Mac. I seriously laughing my head off till he is kind of irritated. Ha ha! He bought a HP lappy. It is a good buy I feel!

Another client treated me to dinner at HK Cafe at North Point. I feel so blessed that I have met good clients. Ha ha! :)

I was asked by a modeling agency to go down for an interview for freelance modeling. Over the phone I was like are you kidding me? Me? A model? Not that I wasn't confident of myself but face the fact. I'm short, fat and my face skin is damn cui. So I see no reason why the lady approached me in the first place. In the end I didn't went for the interview because I'm too lazy. Lols. I know there is ugly women only lazy women. Lols.

Had Indian dinner at Samy's Curry with Uni friends 3 weeks back. The food still not too bad. But quite salty. Lols. Had some chocolates gifts from beloved Andrea and Flo! :) The chocolate already gone into my stomach long ago! Haha! We chilled at Ben's & Jerry's after that. We had a great talk at Vera's areas.

Had a dinner with Rainnie and friends 2 weeks ago as Rainnie is going off to China soon. Had a buffet dinner at Sukiya (Marina Square). Really really bloated. It is nice! Love the salmon! :)

I met up with an online friend from Zoosk last Saturday. I was damn nervous seriously. I can feel I have butterflies in my stomach and I can feel my cheeks pretty warm when I met him. What is wrong with me? "Relax!" I reminded myself. But he seemed pretty nervous himself too. Lols. We were supposed to meet for movie (Paul) in the evening. But my appointment was postponed so I met him earlier. However, we had like 2 hours to kill! So we just walked around Wisma. It was pretty awkward I guess. Ha ha!

He tried his best not to stone and think of conversations to entertain me. But I guess my reactions are pretty cold. Seriously I have no idea why. Normally when I met with my clients, I would ask them questions so that I could get to know them better and I will have expressions and laughters and ask them more questions showing them I'm listening, interested and curious to find out more. I have people telling me that I have a good smile. Probably that day I was dead nervous. I'm totally a conversation killer. Lols.

The movie Paul, is pretty lame. Some parts are pretty funny that I laugh out loud. When I sensed that he was sitting pretty calmly, I tried to control my laughters. Am I being self-conscious of how I behave? Why am I being so self-conscious of my behavior anyway?

We had dinner at a Japanese restaurant. I can't really remember the name of the restaurant. It is near Holiday Inn Hotel that area. But anyway, its specialty is its BBQ sticks but... they are damn salty! Lols. I like their potato salad and the raw shrimps or dunno what. Nice! I was touched by one of the things he did. He peeled the prawn shells for me. Pretty sweet right? You know why I'm touched. Because normally if I see the prawns with shells I would rather don't eat them. So most of the time, my parents, my aunties or uncles would help me peel the shells. I'm seemed pretty pampered huh? lols. I wondered does he always peel prawn shells for people. Lols. We were damn full after our dinner! This meet up seemed pretty much awkward I feel but he is really a nice chap! Haha!

Okay, that's all for now. Still got more updates regarding my cycle trip and my haircut experience. Haha!

Love,
Sam :)

An update about my life!

Went to USS last Friday! Conquered my fear for roller coasters! Lols! It is fun! Wee! :)

Hot topic for the current moment is General Election. I need to vote for the first time. haha! I more or less know who I'm voting for already. haha!

Life is as usual. I really wish to do a detail update but... too much to say as well. Too many things happened and sometimes I can't really remember what had happened. So life goes on.

Ganbatte to me!

:)
