Welcome to 2009!

Yappie. Bye bye 2008 and welcome 2009!

For the past one year... what had I done? Well, time seemed to have passed fast. Really fast. It seemed so much things had happened and yet nothing seemed to have happened. Confused? I also confused. Haha!

So much things had happened...

To start off, I had a job for 5 dragging months. It was quite an experience I guess. I never expected my endurance level could be so high. A boss that keeps naggings and making his subordinates bad and inferior. But still he is nice at times. He is "hard at mouth but soft at heart" person, I guess. No one had reached his expectations. His high expectations. But still I endured for 5 months.

Another colleague of mine, hot-tempered and always picking on me. I guess is because I always late for work and always have to trouble her. She is another "hard at mouth but soft at heart" person. I will never forget what she said to me on my last day of work, "you, work hard."

Another one, seemed to be gentle and sweet. But she seemed to me always day-dream and lazing around and waiting for lunch and end of work. But still she has her good points too, she is damn neat and clean and organised.

Another, always encouraging and optimistic. He resembles a bit of Louisa, now I think of it. Always putting a smile no matter what boss had scolded him. He saw the one who saw the change in me while I was in the company. He remembered I was really scared while I was talking to the boss when I just started working for the company. A few months passed, he saw the way I talked to the boss changed. I became more confident and speak more slowly when I was talking to the boss. What the boss asked, I was able to think through and answer properly and with eye contact of course.

They are many people as well. Like the operators who talk to me while I was bored. Now that I recalled, I can't really remember their names. But really thankful for them for making my work there less boring and more lively I guess. The security guards as well... The food there as well... and thanks Louisa for keeping me accompany for that few months...or else I don't really know how to go through them... Really reappreciated... =)

Not forgeting lady boss. One strict and confident lady. Thank you her for the guidence. She can be scary at times. But being with her, there won't be any free time in hand. That would be a good thing I guess.

Thank you for this job that I can able to relate what I am learning now in University to the reality. Make me more movitated I guess. I awaiting for more challenges this year! I know it is going to be a tough year for many people I guess. But I believe with endurance, we WILL survive!

Yap. I got my driving liscence as well. This seemed to be the only thing I had done in 2008 I guess. Haha! But I am pretty proud of it. because I work hard for it. and need to once again thanks all the instructors who had taught me. hehe! =)

After the job, I worried for my entry to University. After much pain and agruments with my parents and relatives, I finally settled on University of Newcastle. Studying at PSB academy in Singapore. I really had no regrets for now. Because I had make a number of good friends there. I like it there man! haha! =)

But in the new semester, we are separated into 2 different groups but not to worry, we still able to have lunch together. Haha! All the best! =)

It ends off my 2008 with beautiful and relax and wonderful holidays and memories. Yeah man!

I had a wonderful day with my Uni friends. Haha! We ate at Ms Clarify at this pretty ulu street. But I really love it there. Cos it is quiet. haha!

We were sitting on this No 8 table...

This is the beautiful X'mas tree at Ms Clarify...

Then we walked down the street to this Minds' Cafe to have fun and laughters! But I still prefered the service at pit shop Cafe! =)

I went to cycle as well at East Coast Park. I finally cyclied to Changi Beach! Yeah! =)

Here was our tiring journey there... Imagine we have to cycle back to East Coast to return our bike...
The road just opposite the lane that the airplanes took off. Really enjoyable to see airplanes took off. haha!

It states...

haha... this is clearer...

It states dismount and push.... but some people still cycle on... one example is me... bad bad...

Jia You jia you! Only 570m more!

Here we are at Changi Beach! =)

Well, it is really windy plus quiet. If I could stay there a little while to enjoy the wind.... haha... but there is no time! We have to return our bikes!

I was really tired on the way back to east coast. Imagine more than 7000m ride to Changi Beach and now again 7000m back... oh my... But I kept cycle and cycle till my legs were quite wobbly and numb... haha... although we didn't make it to the bike shop in time.... wah... that guy... haiz... how dare he charged us extra... booo... but he is kind of cute... hehe... I had a great time! =)
There, my 2nd attempt in baking cake without oven btw... well... not quite a success... but still edible... at least the look still presentable than the previous attempt I guess... haha!

Here we are at the seafood buffet... I forgot what's the name of the restuarant already... It is nearby the Novena Square, just walk down the Revenue House... and you would reach this place...
I took this while we were waiting for the rest... should have be late... haiz...

We had a really full dinner... I was bloated... Well, there was two kind of soups... one is orginal the other is spicy... I prefered the orginal one as the spicy one is too spicy... still not too bad I guess... Other dinner we went for Twilight... oh.... my beloved... hehe... ya... got two cuties in the movie sia... although, I admit the movie was kind of slow and boring... I prefered more of comedy... but ya... but it is still worth it... ya... got two hunk! oh my oh my... haha!
Here I was in this interesting van to Malacca, Malaysia... it is able to occupy up to 12 persons including the driver.... I woke up at 5am please... oh, this van can't make U-turn, it kind of struck man. It sends shivers down our spines... haha... but thanks to driver's skillfull driving.

See our zoombie eyes...

This is the naughty boy...

See this cute little innocent cat...

The driver made a few stops for rest and stretch ourselves...

Finally we reached our beloved hotel...

Beautiful lamps isn't it?

Huge x'mas tree right?

Wonderful performance at the shopping mall!
Uncle brought us to this beautiful sea...The Sembawang Park... although I still think East Coast Beach and even the Changi Beach are better....

Seeing people fishing... and BBQ... seem kind of fun I guess... The fishing area is really... had fishy smell... When someone pulled up the net, I thought for a moment there is fish inside... but to my disappointment, it is only the bait (the dead fish).

To my surprise, there is cargo ship! haha... girl, this sea is towards johor...

I want to recommend this wonderful restuarant... Seafood Paradise at Defu Lane... It is really yummy... especially the creamy crabs... oh my... really tasty...

The yummy shark fin's soup...

Too busy eating for any photos... by the look that no leftover.... the food here is really yummy! It is really really worth a try! Yeah! =)
So there, my 2008 came to a wonderful end... I welcome my 2009... hopefully, it is be as interesting as my 2008 or maybe even better.
A start of a new year, of course there will be resolutions...

My 2009 resolutions

1) To learn Japanese.
2) To learn guitar. (Shang, continue to lend me your guitar. I'm so sorry. I promise, I will try to learn one song.)
3) To make lots of money.
4) To lose weight.
5) To increase in height. ( This seems a bit hard huh?)
6) To practise singing.
7) To make a lot of friends.
8) To excel in my studies.
Oh, I finally completed watching "It started with a Kiss", and "It started with a Kiss 2". It was kind of sweet, comedy, and romance. It was kind of worth it to watch it I guess. It makes you want to get into relationship and get married soon. Haha. It depicts this little girl, Xiang Qin, who loves this guy, Zhi Shu in her High School. Finally, this girl had the courage to tell him her feelings. Sadly, this cool guy rejected her. Coincidently, Xiang Qin had to live in this guy's house. This is how their fates begins... How the girl shows her love for this cool guy. How this cool but intelligent guy being touched by this simple-minded but kind girl. Kind of heart-warming and unbelievable... but show is just show... for entertainment... haha... if you have the time and feeling bored, worth-while to watch I guess....
School is going to start soon... Start school officially on Monday.... Kind of scared plus excited...the workload and meeting new people and lecturers and tutors...all the best to me man!
