Anyone free on Fri to accompany me go USS???

I thank my colleague for giving this ticket to me.
But it is only one free ticket to USS.
And it is exam time & people are working.
Probably is my 人缘不好. Sad and depressed. Sob sob.
Okay, if nobody goes with me, just go alone I guess.
Haha! I don't think I'm daring enough to go alone.

Well, everyday is always so different and busy! But anyway, will try to update!

I just saw an interesting fact from the web about dating:

A study in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health suggests that being single for a long period of time could be bad for your health and increase your chances of death. In comparison to those who are married, singles are more at risk of health problems such as heart disease and have a shorter lifespan. Marriage is the binds a couple and social connectedness helps to prolong life.

Did I mention that online dating don't seem to work and I went to Zoosk just for the fun of it? Well, statistics states that online dating works! I still simply can't believe it. Lol!

In 2007, Online Dating Magazine estimated that more than 20 million people visit at least one online dating service a month and that that there are more than 120,000 marriages a year that occur as a result of online dating.

Another fact about dating which I think is pretty interesting too:

According to a study called Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience, men have been found to judge women on their attractiveness within a millisecond. It was also found that women need proof as to whether a man will be a good mate, trustworthy and committed and therefore take longer to decide.

So it goes to mean that males are more of a visual person whereas for females, they take time to understand a person. Probably they give chances as well. It also means that if a female wants to attract a male, they need to doll herself up?

I bought a pair of heels today. Lols. Love it but it is seriously painful to walk in heels. Wonder why women still walk in them. But seriously when I wore it, you will feel a difference. Taller and looks more beautiful. Lol!

I feel like fainting... What shall I do? I'm in a situation which I dunno what shall I do now... Oh my...

Interesting fact

Do you want to get rid of your double chin? Here is the secret: Open your mouth as wide as you can, and hold that position for a few seconds. Then close your mouth slowly. Focusing on putting your bottom teeth over your top teeth so that you would have an under bite. Hold that position for a few seconds and that release. Repeat this exercise for at least 10 times each day and you will see a difference in a couple of weeks.

2nd of April, Sat

Had a great shopping time at far east. I bought a pair of pants and a dress at Purpur. A sleeveless dress. Can you believe it? I have big arms, so you get what I mean. I bought 2 belts too. I bought another dress in another shop too. Can you believe it? I bought two dresses. I don't really wear dress, seriously, as I think that pants or shorts are more comfortable to walk in. I mean you don't need to care that I will scare of zhou guang or what so ever.

But I need change in my life especially after I start my career. I need to take care of how I present myself, the way I look and so on. My wardrobe needs a complete change I guess. For those who know me, I don't care about how I wear. T-shirt and shorts are a norm for me. Dresses and skirts are pretty rare case. I am changing as I need to.

We need to change as everything changes. The only thing that doesn't change is change. If you don't change, you will be left behind.

I need a decent pair of shoe probably with kitten heels at the moment. Someone said before, shoes are most important to a lady as they are the ones which take you to the path you want to take. It is a long journey in life so you will need a good pair of shoe to walk this path with you. Invest in a good pair of shoes today! Ha ha! But I'm really on low budget. I haven't got my first ever salary. I am still waiting.

Talking about waiting. I dislike waiting and I dislike people to wait for me as well. Time is wasted while waiting for people and will be bored. But I am a pretty patient person so to speak. I know the feelings of being pestered and ordered to hurry up so I normally I will tell the person I have reached and wait patiently. Most of the time, the person will have some decency to hurry. Whereas there are people who hate to wait, will keep calling the person every other minute to hurry up. Obviously I won't do that as this will make the person slower and anxious. This happened to me so I won't do it on people.

We went to watch Morning Glory after that. Nice show. I am impressed by the main female lead's character. Straight-forward, able to take control of the situation and confident. It is a really great movie. Highly recommended by me! Just to realise that Amercians are vocal people and they are not afraid to voice out their views. I wonder if I ever live in Amercia, will I be able to survive? I used to think that my views are not important so I don't really voice out, probably because I'm not confident of myself. Constant reminder of how I act and response. Look into people's eyes. Need to force myself to get out of my comfort zone and have my own point of views.

Although it was only like less than a month, it was a tough month. So much to learn. So much to adapt. And so much to change. Time and time and again, I admit, give up is on my mind. Then I think again, is it worth it to give up now, what you have done in the past few months would be gone to waste. Give up now and you will be look down upon. This gives them more reasons to pove them right. My parents are getting old already, who are going to take care of them. Are you going to let them work till the end of their lives? When are they going to retire? These make me hold on to my belief. I need to learn and face the challenges bravely.
